Depending on skill level, give the passers a free ball, easy serve, tough serve.
- 3 passsers, 1 target (setter)
- Award points based on passing accuracy
- 3 (perfect pass)
- 2 (setter needs to take a couple of steps)
- 1 (setter has to scramble to just get to the ball, but can't really set it)
- 0 (setter can't get to the ball at all)
If keeping track of the points total is too hard, maybe motivate the passing players by having them chant something funny after a zero, until they get a three.
